Second day the Camera was up. Moved it almost right on top of the mineral site. I think they may know the Cuddeback is there though.

This is King, me and my dad were chasing him all year. Late season pictures confirmed he made it through the 2015 season. We are hoping to catch up with him this season and cant wait to see what he will look like this coming year.

The weather has been warm and the turkey are on the move after not being on the cameras much. The boys are strutting their stuff trying to impress the girls. The competition gets pretty impressive. One of my pictures looks like the two not displaying are looking in a mirror almost exactly the same pose. They are very close to my house and I get to hear them almost every evening.

I have a camera set up just down the farm road from where these five longbeards roost every night, which is above the water of a Mississippi Tombigbee River backwater slough. They have used this road for years to strut and fight it out about who will dominate the breeding season. This picture is one with all five in the same photo. I just love turkey hunting and thought this was a pretty cool photo.
