I put out all my cameras last week to start tracking turkeys but I end up getting a picture on another kind or bird. Amazing how it caught this pheasant in mid flight yet the picture is crystal clear. Thanks Cuddeback!

This grouse is showing his best on his log. This guy has been real active, and giving me the chance of getting some great photos.

I set up my camera across the street from my house in a bush in hopes of catching some teenagers that have been egging my house. I guess this Blue Scale Quail wanted to know just what was this fancy contraption doing in his house (1,3). On watch with my new friend (2). We have a beautiful view of Albuquerque, NM and the Sandia Mountains in the background.

Did you know that it takes 4 to 5 years before the Eagles get their pure white heads & tails. Also during this time their beaks change from black to yellow & also their eyes change from brown to yellow. Did you know that way back in time the word bald didn't mean hairless like it does today but rather it meant white. That would make sense as to how it got its name. OK nature class is over for the day.

Cool photos of the eagles with their wings open. The young one really showing off how long their wings are.

Eagles are some big powerful birds of prey. I got a photo of a young 1 year old & a fully mature adult. It just looks like a very old bird.

An injured doe stumbled into the neighbor's yard and died. I towed it away from the houses so the pack of local coyotes wouldn't be drawn in. I figured I would get many photos of the pack tearing the carcass apart but when reviewing the memory card I saw this beautiful eagle up close and personal. From an original Cuddeback No-Flash
