I love when we get a relatively cool spell in August after a hot July. And so did this big 8 point. I got 29 photos of him. Some working last year’s scrape under a Dunstan Chestnut. Some doing some light sparring with another buck.

I have been feeding the doe and fawn a little apple-flavored deer corn every morning about sunrise. I have one of my cameras at the spot and always enjoy seeing who feeds on the corn besides them. I was surprised this morning when one of the photos showed the fawn reacting to a turkey wanting in on the breakfast.

Love being able to receive pictures without going into the woods. Saves time and keeps intrusion down. I'm seeing way more daylight movement from bigger, mature bucks now that I don't have to go into the woods to retrieve SD cards.

Cougar family that walked by my cuddleback camera outside of Boulder, Colorado. You can see more cats in the background, there were four of them together. I really enjoy checking my trail cam for photos!
