Trying to catch where the bucks are feeding into the fields can be a challenge. Whitetail in Montana can become hard very nocturnal if pressured with my cameras I'm able to stay out of the area and know what routes they use before season.

I put out my cuddeback long range IR on a old soybean bail from last winter to see what has been moving. After a couple weeks I went to check it and found a mother grey fox and three kits on a mouse nest. Looks like mom is teaching them well.

A ridge between two creeks is a core area for a buck social group. These pictures are of some of the bucks. In one of the photo's a doe set the camera off and caught four bucks crossing the ridge behind her.
