Opening morning for gun deer season in Wisconsin, went hunting on Grandpa's land with my two daughters, ages 14 and 9. We had a great day with my 14 year old bagging a nice buck. Two days later, I grabbed the cards out of the camera's we had set up earlier, and found that this buck was 50 yds from where we parked the truck. He turned and was looking directly in our direction, watching us get our gear out, while we had no idea he was that close. Still have three days left to hunt, have one tag left, hopefully with his name on it!!

As turkey day is approaching my food plots have turned into a buffet for the local deer herd. The weather went from one extreme to another, mid 60's one day to a foot of snow the next. Gotta lo e.Minnesota! Nothing prettier than deer pics in the new snow!

I placed the camera in a tree on our property and got this night picture of a deer eating acorns. I believe it is a 8 or 10 pointer.
