We live on an old farmstead that had apple and plum trees. There is only one plum tree left. I was enjoying the plums over several days then I notice there were none on the ground after a windy day. I set the camera up to see what was enjoy MY plums and this is what I found.

Pic 1 is a fawn enjoying a morning swim. Pic 2 and 3 is the transformation of beautiful buck from velvet to hard horn. It's nice to know what's waiting in the woods for me. Thanks Cuddeback!!!

Something had been killing my chickens this past week so I set up my camera in the animal enclosure. Managed to get one photo of a raccoon which is what I suspected was getting into the enclosure. A chicken flying in the center of the shot was his last victim. The goat was the biggest chicken of them all. Was disappointed that I did not capture video of the action.

These were taken in Western OR and are Roosevelt elk. The first one is the best close picture I have gotten of a bull. The second is on the family property and has five calves in one picture.

I would have never thought in my lifetime that I would see or get a picture of quadruplets cubs on my farm in West Virginia. Wild and Wonderful indeed.

Here it is first week of September and most of the bucks have shed there velvet and summer coats for the fall mating season!! It didn't take these two youngsters long to to start rumbling after the velvet came off! Great pics with the rising full moon in the background!!
