We have had this 22 non typical buck on our camera for the last two years. He only comes during the evenings or early mornings (sparingly) and has never been spotted in the daylight hours. Would love to see this buck in person but guess we will have to keep trying!!!

camera is on a perennial scrape site and a dam crossing for a small watering hole we put in. Whether the bucks are actively working scrapes or just traveling it is a great camera location each fall.

I received permission to hunt a new area and while inspecting the land....I noticed some big deer rubs and scrapes all over. I put my cuddeback close by overlooking apples that were on the ground and waited three weeks to check my camera. I had just 17 pictures and the last two were of this gorgeous 8 point....now I am all set up and ready to try and get a glimpse of him.

I was surprised to see that this buck had survived last season. He has been tough to patern for a bow shot. I now have four cuddebacks . He has been showing up regularly at two of them during shooting hours. Maybe this will be my year. I have never harvested a deer of this caliber.

I have been hunting this location on and off for about 3-4 years with no luck of seeing anything but empty bait pile and tracks. Finally decided to put my cuddeback trail cam up (which I haven't used in years. (WHY???) To my amazement or surprise these two showed up two days after I put the bait and camera out. Everyone has complemented me on these two in a stand off and the quality of the picture . Friends and family couldn't believe this was taken by a trail camera. I said yes a Cuddeback trail camera . They have all said what a picture and that I should it in to Cuddeback and Michigan Outdoor News and or Michigan Out of Doors. So I am submitting this picture under every ones recommendations.

This is a buck I have been watching for 3 years now. As a 4 year old he was around 150 inch 4X4 with brow tines like knives so he was nick named Blades. Now, at 5 yrs old he has blown up to be a true North Dakota giant and his blades have split multiple times. He has been nocturnal until the end of October so I am hoping I will get a chance at him when the rut hits. I have had one encounter with him so far but he as over 100 yards away. Time will tell if the monster hits the ground or if I will still be chasing him in 2018. Fingers crossed. I also have Cuddeback video of him this is better than the pictures but I cannot get it to load so I could sent this video via email if you would like to see it.
