With an early October full moon the scrapes are popping up all over the woods. This is a nice looking 3 1/2 yr old buck who decided to bust off some tines one his right main beam while he was still in velvet. Never the less a nice looking buck making a scrape. The rut can't get here soon enough to get this activity during daylight hours.

This photo was taken at our mountain getaway near Christmas Meadows in the Uinta Mountains of northern Utah. This was our first heavy snowfall of the season, and this magnificent bull moose just wandered through our property.

Our Cuddeback Attack and 'C' Model recorded the first images of wild dog and lion in Kasungu National Park, Malawi. These carnivores occur at low densities across Malawi and are likely dispersing animals from Zambia. Without the use of camera traps these animals would have gone unrecorded. Our project has been attempting to record the presence of wild dog in Malawi for nearly four years and this is the first image we have recorded!
