In the Northern hills of New Mexico during the September rut this bull elk is showing his appreciation for this secluded guzzler installed by profits from the Habitat stamp program from hunters and anglers who purchase licenses in the state.

We passed on this big 10 last year....hoping he would get better. Plenty of great pictures of him on the camera at the feed pen. But this one is just a classic. Hope someone gets a chance to take him in a few weeks. If so, this is the mount he needs.

This old post has been a favorite for bucks for so many years to rub on. During rust they have traveled 3 miles to hit it. A few years ago a big 300lb buck tipped it over so I reinforced it a piece of angle iron. It will probably need some help after this year. This is the best looking one hitting it so far this year.

This year I took a camera to a property I haven't had much luck on. I hadn't seen many deer and wasn't to confident to hunt it this year so this is a confidence booster. Let's just say I will be hunting this property next year 100%. The camera never lies!

I found a community scrape & the 1'st night of having my camera on it, there were 6 different bucks that came by. These 3 are nice looking bucks.
