This is a buck I have been watching for 3 years now. As a 4 year old he was around 150 inch 4X4 with brow tines like knives so he was nick named Blades. Now, at 5 yrs old he has blown up to be a true North Dakota giant and his blades have split multiple times. He has been nocturnal until the end of October so I am hoping I will get a chance at him when the rut hits. I have had one encounter with him so far but he as over 100 yards away. Time will tell if the monster hits the ground or if I will still be chasing him in 2018. Fingers crossed. I also have Cuddeback video of him this is better than the pictures but I cannot get it to load so I could sent this video via email if you would like to see it.

I own property in the mountains and always wondered why myfish pond was either very low or empty. I knew but wondered what animal or animals were drinking from it. We were hoping to see a bear or mountain lion and still hope too! But our first try with the camera showed beautiful arrangements of deer. Being 85 years old I thought the pictures were quite the sight.

Bucks came out of velvet quite quickly. As the picture states, it is the first of October, and they are already at it. Neither one will be taken this year. I believe in harvesting only mature elder bucks just prior to or in decline.

Collin County (North Texas) Monsters! Been watching these 3 big boys for the last 4 months grow from velvet nubs to full hard antlers. Simply amazing this quality of deer are growing in the slivers of woods/ creek bottoms in major cities where people have no idea they even exist!

13 acres of woods in a big city with homes and businesses all around shouldn't have monster deer like this! This deer is in a county in north Texas that believed there were no deer at all 8 years ago and as of the last few years Collin County opened and archery only season. There are monsters in my backyard. We drive 6 hours to south Texas to hunt deer while there are much bigger deer 1 mile from my house in a major metropolitan area! Blows my mind!
