Just set it out the night before the opening. I was expecting to see a doe and her button buck. Instead of that I got a photo of something the locals did not know they had. It’ A Fisher.

I've been trying to follow and get my shot at this deer for 2 years now, he started as a 10 point with little crab claws when I first bought my cuddeback and now he's a 12 with double brow tines and he's just any amazing incredibly smart animal!

This adorable photo was taken on our hunting property, We had a stump filled with mineral for the deer. I can just imagine this lil guy saying “ OK I’m sitting here all prim and proper using my manners and all you’re going to offer me some icky mineral ”

This year I have seen only spikes and does at my stand.. that is until this big boy came for a photo shoot. I love the unique pony at the base of the left antler. The year seems to be stuck on 2006 on this capture, but it was this year and he has yet to show his face during daylight when I am there. Keep hoping.
