This is a picture right as I shot my first buck with a recurve bow. The buck dropped on impact and the camera caught him in the act. Time is an hour off as I had not set it back for daylight savings. The camera also snapped a pic as I was dragging the deer out. The buck was a 6.5 year old 190 lb. Wise County, TX deer. Enjoy!

I cleared out a space for my new hunting cabin and decided to put out a camera to see who might show up. This is a Northern Shrike holding a vole in its beak. Shrikes have a sharp curved beak and capture voles and mice and many times hang them on a thorn on a tree.

This Buck showed up on Halloween just after I left my stand...amazing how smart these whitetails are. Picture2 This fawn still has his spots in November....doe must have been bred very late. Picture3 This nice 8 point came in to the wrong stand as I was hunting one field over...very nice fall colors.

I got on a new deer lease this year in Henderson county Tx. Set my feeder up and built a pen around it to keep the wild hogs from coming in and tearing everything up. I hung my Cuddeback black flash camera up to watch the feeder and see what kind of deer might find it and when they were coming in. After a couple of weeks I checked the camera and this is one of the first pictures I saw
