Sandhill Cranes-majestic, stately looking bird. Tough to setup on these birds as they usually land out in the middle of wide open fields. Got lucky when this pair strolled by one of my favorite deer trail cam setups in a semi-wooded cattle pasture next to a large wide open field area.

Sometimes all the variables needed for a great pic just come together. My Cuddeback captured one of these moments when time-of-day, lighting, distance of target and trail cam direction all aligned making for a clear, well-centered beautiful trail cam pic.

Always get great color and clear action shots. This ridge is always a draw for toms to strut and call. Looks like they have both sides of the ridge in their scope.
