I set my Cuddeback camera on my most remote food plot. My land is in Southern Herkimer County lying wholly in the northern tip of the Town of Herkimer, NY. I set 1 of my 10 Cuddeback cameras up hoping to get a look at some of several big bucks whose sheds we had found this spring. Although my big bucks didn't show I was very pleased to see mama bear and her two baby cubs. Especially in the middle of the day, which reassures me that our efforts to provide a safe and secure haven for undisturbed movement of wildlife is working. even during hunting season we emphasis low impact hunting techniques.

We have had a lot of bear activity this summer! We have had this sow and cubs checking out our hog bait sites. Also they've just been lounging around the yard checking out the flowers- just being bears! Our cuddebacks definitely keep us informed on what's going on around the place :)

This is a photo of a buck I call Beast. Ive been watching him for 3 yrs niw and he has blossomed. Have his sheds from last season. I passed him up 2 yrs ago to take a older management buck only 100 yds from where this photo was taken.

This is a photo of a big buck over an old salt block location. My corn food plot is in the backround. My house only 200 yards away from the camera. You can see the yard light in the first photo before the corn grew too tall to block the light. This is a progression of the buck since the beginning of July.

This camera had not been checked since 02-13-18 due to flooding. Boy was I excited when I was able to retrieve the card today due to the water finally going down!
