Thought this was a good pic of this young ten point. He will get a pass from me this year. Hopefully the neighbors feel the same. The picture quality is great. Love my cuddeback.

I been trying to harvest this 8 point since season started I never could get him to show himself in the daylight. It looks like I should have hunted this stand on this day. I love how the cuddeback captured his hair standing up to show dominance. The pics tell the story of this morning I especially like the one where it looks like the young buck is playing mediator.

Rifle season in Missouri had been wearing me down and I chose to get a little rest and not hunt the Sunday morning, Nov. 18th due to some light rain. The deer movement had been slow due to the lock down phase. I received an email with a cuddelink picture from the area I just hung my summit climber a couple days prior and put one of my cuddelink cameras right off a bedding area, near a ridge pinch point that had two new scrapes on the logging road. There was one specific buck that I was going in after. You can guess which deer was on the picture standing 20 yards from my climber 7:45 in the morning. Lesson learned, don’t be lazy, grind through it and get up in your stand because you never know when your best chance is to harvest a buck that you’ve spent time putting a plan together to get a shot at him. Bad news is I didn’t get a shot, good news is I now have one awesome picture.

Recently moved to Northwest Arkansas and was wondering when the first rut cycle is here. I guess this answers my question!
