Finally got out to the trail cameras this weekend and was happy to see some nice Roosevelt Bulls. They can be a lot more elusive then Rocky Mountain Elk. The first bull was a decent 5 by 5 and the second bull bugled directly at the camera! Happy with the camera quality and the Elk

Plenty of buck came through this scrape and worked the branches, but this one seemed poised to make his mark in unreachable places. I believe he was actually stuck for a short time as I have 30 plus similar consecutive photos over a 10 minute time frame.

I have had my Cuddeback color cameras set up just west of Portage, WI since the beginning of Sept. I have gotten a lot of nice photos of a lot of different buck but this is the first shot of this guy. I sure hope he stays in the area for another week or two.

This nice little 21/2 year old shows up every day and night for some great pictures from my old camera. If you notice the year on the photo it says 2006, but it’s actually this year. Time and date works along with everything else, except the year doesn’t change

Who says mature bucks don't visit scrapes during the day light? This was a man made scrape that was started in September.

Found several rubs in this area last winter. Set a camera this fall and have been getting some great pictures. This is not the biggest buck but, the nicest picture composition.

We have a few apple trees on our farm. Every year bears come down out of the mountains to eat up all of the apples that fall to the ground. Sometimes they climb the trees to get at the apples. This bear was taking the lazy approach and laying on the ground waiting for the apples to fall.
