I recently became owner of a property in Western Maryland and put out a Cuddeback Camera and got some exciting pictures of some black bears on the property. This was a property my father and my uncles hunted since the 1960's. It was so exciting to get these pictures. Brings back memories of my dad talking about hunting this property when I was growing up.

This is one of several cameras I leave out all Winter because it’s a great trail for big white tails and Spring Turkeys, with plenty of shots of wolves, coyotes, black bears, fishers, bobcat and lynx, however this is a first, a Great Grey Owl! There seems to have been an encounter based on how silent owls fly and how spooked the deer looks.
