We installed a waterhole and mock scrape this spring during the 2019 spring turkey season. Since they were installed the traffic going thru has skyrocketed. This pair of bucks appeared to be trying to settle their differences the other day.

Photo 1 Shows a new comer sneaking in to steal a girlfriend.The smaller bodied buck ends up sending the intruder on his way. Photo 2 shows a local buck eating a bite.When two unwelcome trespassers from the North cut in front and make the local wait.

As the scrapes around here are being hit hard, it made me think of one of my favorite pics taken on a scrape. This pic was from 2009 and the deer centered up and posed perfectly. My favorite way to inventory bucks where I am hunting during this time of year is setting up cameras on scrapes hands down. And you can Capture some amazing photos/videos as well.
