While patterning some big bucks with my new Cuddeback, I got this video of a fawn nursing, an unusual occurrence for so late in our WV season. This video was taken in mid-December. I have seen fawns nurse on rare occasions, but never this close.

We thought we got a picture of this deer earlier in the season. This pictures was so blury we weren't for sure it actually had 3 legs, but now we know for sure.

I got several pictures of good bucks from a new hunting spot in a bow only hunting county. I put my new Cuddeback up in early Dec. and got pictures of a Pope & Young 10 point, a split tine 9, and some other smaller bucks. My Cuddeback pictures let me know I was just missing their daytime visits a day here and there. I stayed after the big 10 and finally on Dec. 22, I killed him at 10:20 a.m. The Cuddeback not only allowed me to pattern him, but kept me interested enough to stay in my stand with temperatures in the low teens and single digits. When I got home and reviewed my pictures and videos, I learned that I had gotten the kill shot on video. 5 does had triggered my camera several times and did 15 seconds before he walked into view. The Cuddeback is some of the best hunting dollars I have spent, and my wife agrees!

The times on these photos are not correct, but this last buck came through during gun season while I was sitting on another stand.

Just placed the camera out over a mineral lick/corn pile after Christmas, checking on remaining bucks. Have had lots of bucks, squirrels, racoons, fox, rabbits and turkeys all coming in for their holiday snack.
