First time setting up a bait station for hunting Black Bear. Plus the first time I have used Cuddeback cameras. This bear has been coming around for about a week. Looks like it has decided that this is a great place to have some relaxation.

I have 16 cuddelink cameras linked together covering 500 acres, I've had them out since May 5th and got some amazing pictures. I recently cemented in a rubbing tree with a licking branch and got some really cool pictures!

Can you see me in the background next to the tree? I ordered a ground blind but it hadn’t been delivered yet and I really wanted to hunt that night. So I sat on the ground by a tree across from the camera and had plenty of action.

My first camera was a Reconyx Camera. I really enjoyed that camera and it took good photos. My parents bought me two of the same Cuddeback Cameras for Christmas about a year after I bought my Reconyx. After some time, the electronics kept getting wet in the Reconyx and it would stop working. Even after it was repaired, it happened again. I've had these cameras for years, and the Cuddebacks are still going strong and they have outlasted the Reconyx twice now. This year, I am able to hunt on some new property and these were some of the first pictures since I've had these Cuddeback out. Sadly, the Reconyx will not be joining them on the adventure this year. But I think I will be looking into Cuddebacks again in the future.
