We went out to this pond to set up a ground blind for deer hunting and saw all these birds take off as we came out into the clearing. As soon as we saw the dead deer we knew what they were there for. I decided to move my Cuddeback no flash from my deer stand area to the deer and was not disappionted. I also got pictures of coyote lynx racoons skunk and fisher after dark.

From August to November 2006, I was able to get over 200 pictures of this 7x9 buck with my Cuddeback Excite. Seemed like he was always eager to pose for the camera! This was the first year I have ever used a scouting camera, and going back to my parents' farm to check my Cuddeback every couple weeks was almost as exciting as actually going out hunting. I plan on buying a couple more Cuddebacks this year because they are top of the line scouting cameras. My brothers and I don't bow hunt (wish we did now), and we were looking forward to taking this incredible buck during the SD rifle season. The rut got the best of him and a neighbor ended up taking him a half-mile from my deer stand. He grossed 182 points B&C and weighed just over 300 pounds. Hoping he was able to get a little breeding in before he was taken so that I can look forward to getting pictures of his sons on my Cuddebacks in the coming years!
