Bear season is here, welded up case for camera. Put it out to see roughly how many bears, as we're putting out 400 to 500 lbs of grub every 4 to 5 days. Rough guess is about 15 different bears. Since purchasing Camera in Nov. it's taken 5742 pics.

This picture was taken less than 48 hours before a friend of mine harvested this deer. We had a snow storm that night and most of the snow disappeared within the next few days. I thought this was a perfect setting picture with the deer and all the trees covered in fresh snow.

The first picture is of a young buck that we have been watching since he was a fawn, and the second picture is of a buck we have watched since last year that we call the tall tine buck, he put on some pretty impressive tines last year and had a couple of drop-tines which are returning again this year but in greater numbers. thanks to cuddeback we found out this buck was on our property last year and again this year. the quality of the photos helps to really see those small abnormal points. thanks

Its interesting how during twilight hours, the noflash camera uses infra-red black and white instead of visible light- as in this photo of a spike. An hour later in the morning, the same camera took a pic of this raccoon ear in color with visible light.

This image of a wide, chocolate antlered 10 point was captured only days after the close of the Wisconsin firearms season. I envision him recently rising from his bed after napping thru a light snowfall. Assuming he survived the winter he's surely a little older, wiser, and bigger! He's jumped right to the top of our camp's 2008 Most Wanted list.
