Picture 1 is of a feral hog that came through the area. The hogs are starting to move into this area, and we are seeing a few of them. This is a mean looking one with the hair bristled up on his back. Picture 2 is of a pretty grey fox that happened by. I was able to get over 1500 pictures with my 1.3 megapixel Cuddeback over the last year, and I have recently purchased a Cuddeback Excite model that I have already set out and taken several hundred pictures. I am always excited to see what I have on the cameras when I check them.

In picture 1, the Cuddeback captured a picture of a family of javelina that took up residence in the area. Javelina are rarely seen in this part of the state, but a pair showed up in this area last year, and this picture shows the Mama javelina and her 2 half grown young ones and her new babies right at her heels. All of the little ones survived, I saw them later in the season when they were nearly grown. Picture 2 shows a large bobcat that frequents the area, I have gotten several pictures of him, but have only gotten glimpses of him when I was hunting. Picture 3 is of a curious Coyote wandering by.

Picture 1 shows a nice buck scent marking a overhanging Mesquite tree limb, the bucks eventually developed a scrape under this limb. Picture 2 is of the photogenic spider and a nice young buck. Picture 3 is of the same spider and a doe, the spider decided to change things up and build his web sideways in front of the camera. I was impressed that the Cuddeback was able to take pictures that still focused on the deer and not the spider web.

Picture 1 is of a nice 11 point buck that frequented my hunting area, and that I was able to harvest later in the season. In picture 2 I was surprised to get a picture of a free ranging Sika deer that came by my setup. Picture 3 shows a young buck scent marking a overhanging Mesquite tree limb.
