Here we have a display of affection between a whitetail doe and her fawn. Although there are times when mother nature can be quite cruel, there are also moments when nature's creatures exhibit almost humanlike behavior. This picture was taken with one of my older Cuddeback cameras that has been working daily for over 5 years and is still going strong. For those of you who do not know, not only is feeding of wildlife legal in Texas, it is encouraged. With regard to this particular picture, my wife fell in love with it and twisted my arm to submit it. Thank you.

This photo was from September 15, 2020. The date does not imprint correctly on my camera anymore for some reason. This is the first time I have captured a queen with her kit in the 13 years I’ve had my cuddle back on this tree. Very cool to see.

These 2 bucks were not visible to me until after my wife passed away June 28th this year. The night I came home from the hospital after she passed, they both walked in front of my truck on my driveway. Since then, they became regular visitors to my camera! I think my wife is sending me some luck....
