I have been watching this deer for a several weeks but never closer then 500 yards. I purchased two Capture cameras on Sept 4th at Cabelas and put them out the same day in an area I thought he might be using. This camera is mounted on the same tree I killed a nice 10pt last Oct.

This apple tree here in Western Oregon has always been a great spot but this year it seemed like there was not a track within miles. My Cuddeback let me know that the Blacktail population is still there.

The second night after I reveived my Cuddeback Capture I got these amazing photos. All I did was put a bucket of apples out in front of my camera. That night was when I got the photo of the big buck. Later on in the week I got a picture of two coyotes. I'm very impressed with my Capture.

This young buck is just about to rub off the last of his velvet - this picture is a very good example as to how red and bloody the antlers are after they shed their velvet. . .the other buck also has some velvet hanging off his right antler too
