I STARTED USING SCOUTING CAMERAS WHEN THEY ONLY HAD 35MM FILM CAMERAS IN THEM. I STILL HAVE A FEW DEER CAM DC-100 AKA CUDDEBACK AND HIGHLAND SPORT PHOTO SCOUT AND A FEW OTHERS. THE ONLY ONES THAT WOULD ALWAYS CAPTURE THE ANIMAL ALL THE TIME WERE THE NON TYPICAL CAMERAS. I'VE TRIED THEM ALL. THIS WAS AN OCTOBER SNOWFALL WHEN THIS POLAR BEAR SHOWED UP IN THE NORTHEAST WOODS OF PA. HE MUST BE LOST !!!!!! THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A COLOR FLASH CAMERA FOR NIGHT TIME PICTURES.

The deer feeder is set to go off every day at a certain time. The turkeys got in there before the deer on this day and the buck was running them off

I have been using my Cuddeback camera to monitor activity at a beaver lodge along the Spring Creek Greenway north of Houston in The Woodlands, Texas. The beavers are very active and have built a pond which is important to the ecosystem as well as to flood mitigation. They are typically active at night maintaining their lodge as see from these photos. I was also able to get video of their activity using the Cuddeback camera.

Deer come into open fields at night to eat, lay down, play and run because they can't run and play in the dense woods. Nightly, they bring their fawns to the open fields to run. This picture was taken in Hudson, New Hampshire on December 29, 2020 and captures a small doe running in circles and playing in the open fields while three other deer were eating nearby. It shows the excellent color ability and the speed and centered technology of the Cuddeback Color (C) camera.

This bobcat has been seen snagging him a squirrel at this same location, but never caught on camera. I was actually sitting the stand at this location when he came prancing by with his supper. I was thrilled to see that the camera actually caught him.

I have been all over Texas trying to start hunting waterfowl this season only to be mocked by some corn eating black bellies whistlers! Not just one of them showed up, 27 of them showed up!

Use of photographic capture–recapture analyses to estimate abundance of species with distinctive natural marks has become an important tool for monitoring rare or cryptic species, or both. We use this method to estimate lynx densities in Switzerland (Canton de Fribourg, Service des forêts et de la nature).

I simply wanted to hunt bigger bucks and I wasn't going to be able to do that on the family ground I was on. A handful of buddies and a few family members decided to find a lease with potential. After scouring for a year we settled on this beautiful pc but it was a bit of a drive. After looking at every cell cam available I rested my whole season and a bunch of $$ on cuddyback and boy was that a great decision. The pics tell the story and aided me killing a couple great bucks, blowing a 30 yd shot on a bear but spring turkeys looking good.
