This little devil hangs close to the homestead, but caught him on our Cuddeback too close to our hunter’s deer stand! Watching deer activity from the kitchen windows, gives insight into individual deer traits. This buck likes flower pots, the garden and making our driveway alert system go off day & night! I watched this 10 pointer on several of my Cuddeback cameras scattered throughout the property I hunt. I was fortunate enough to harvest this deer October 8. The little spike was just a curious guy that gave me a laugh.

I was extremely excited to set up my Cuddeback system after receiving it in the mail. My hunting club is located 2 1/2 hours away from home in Irwinton, GA. I placed one of my cameras in a dry creek bed full of acorns and cover on both sides. A certain Spike has taken great interest in my camera and seems to be looking for a modeling contract! I have affectionately named him GQ. I look forward to watching this young buck grow daily thanks to the Cuddeback system!

Taken in Washington State on Fidalgo Island. The water is Similk Bay in the Puget Sound. One of 5 cameras on our property. We usually get a lot of deer, coyote, racoon, river otter and blue heron. While Bale Eagles are plentiful in this part of the country, this is the first the cameras have captured after being placed for several years. Looks like he just picked up something for dinner!

The only time I've seen this guy is after sitting in my stand all day to walk back to small yard area behind the house and there he was... but of course it was after hunt hours... He's still around so far!!
