This photo reminds me of the Larry Zach series “Old Rivalsâ€. Seems fitting since we are about an hour from him.

Put the trail camera out on two trails one in front of the camera and one coming from the back of the camera and theres a little hill on the right side of the camera and thats where the buck decided to come from and he needed to jump over the hill

How many bucks can you get in one cuddeback image? Nothing better than summer bachelor groups all taking their turn at the licking branch! Archery season quickly approaching and waiting for the mature bucks to appear.

Though the photo is a bit grainy because my batteries were weak, the shot is still amazing. Bobcats are very solitary with the exception of breeding season, and in Western PA., even more so. I was amazed to have (two) adult Bobcats in the same picture, and if my eyes don't deceive me, that is also a very rare bat in the photo since Western PA bat population was decimated about a decade ago from White Nose Syndrome. The batteries are changed, and I will hopefully catch that pair of Bobcats crossing through again one day.

I've had a camera on this creek crossing for a long time capturing all kinds of wildlife, including elk. grizzlies, and wolves.

Captured this deer last year on one of our food plots, and realized it was missing one of it's front legs. Two bear, of very different ages, that have made our property their own it seems. Always only see them apart, but in this picture we have them together. One that is about 2 years old, and the other a mature black bear. The 2 year old actually came walking through between our house, and garage one evening, while my son was sitting on our deck. He got excited and say hi, and the bear took off running.

Wildfires forced me to find a new location for archery season and found an area that probably overlooked because of the size of property but looks promising
