I typically get a lot of mountain lions from this particular camera. But much to my surprise a different type of predator is picked up on camera.

I purchased the cuddelink to monitor our farm, was the best decision ever. We have them at all three properties that we hunt at now and we modify our game plan to where the deer are based on pics from the different farms. Caught this guy doing the deed at one of our blinds that we call the dog house.

During Muzzleloader Season I took a small 6 Point that I actually thought was a doe when I pulled the trigger. I had not seen this buck on any of my cameras previously. On opening day of gun season, I took a decent 7 point that I had seen on several different camera locations. He was the largest buck that I got pictures of all season so I went ahead and took him. In Tennessee, there is a 2 buck season limit, so needless to say, I was now limited out on bucks for the rest of the season. I took the 7 point at 8:50 am. When I got back home that day I noticed I had a new picture come in to my phone. Oh man, a really nice 8 point, way bigger than anything I had seen all season, was right by the stand that I took the 7 point from earlier. The heart breaker is the 8 point came through at 10:00 am. If I hadn’t taken that 7 point, I would have had a chance at the big 8 point which would have been my personal best in 30 years of hunting. Since I’m limited out, my buck season is now over, but I’ll be looking for this big boy next year for sure.

Well, the photo is pretty self explanatory. A doe, a buck, the rut in full swing. Cudde captured the moment many hunters would laugh about if they saw in person. The rut is the time of year that gives us all the upper hand at seeing these studs during the day chasing the girls.

I've been passing up bucks for 15 years hoping one year a monster will make it through and I'll have one on my property. Well it finally happened this summer. I haven't seen him during hunting season unfortunately though. Just great to know there's a chance.

"Don't EVEN think about it!"... This skunk took offense when two curious does got too close to the groceries. He's doing a handstand -- the final warning before unleashing chemical weapons -- and the whitetails seem to understand what comes next!
