The camera was set over a scrape that gets used every year. This big 8 point came in and layed down twice in one week. He stayed for about an hour each day so there are allot of pictures of him, but these are the best. We had some close encounters with this buck, but we never harvested him. The camera taught us much about active deer scrapes. Every critter in the woods is curious about an active scrape. Regular visitors to the scrape include; Bucks and does, bobcat, coons, fox, skunk and cayotes.

Just a few bucks during a little pre-rut activity. In the last picture, you will see the buck I missed with my bow about 15 minutes after the picture was taken...yep, I choked.

I have several pictures of this big buck and have cameras set up about half a mile apart. These photos are about 75 yards from a main road!

Our Capture IR caught this early morning loving moment between a doe and her fawn. The camera is on the edge of a green browse food plot located in the Missouri Ozarks, Ozark County, Tecumseh, Missouri.
