Looking at this 8 Pointer working this scrape, it is an exciting time of year to be a whitetail, But an even more exciting time to be a Bow Hunter!

I borrowed this Cudde/Back camera from a co-worker to see what was on this 25 acre's I am hunting this year and all I can seem to get pictures of are these awesome bucks. There are four different ones that run together. Here are three.

Not chasing yet. At least these big boys. Passed on this 9 pointer couple weeks ago. Was I nuts? He may be bigger than I thought. Let the 10 walk last year. I think he put on 30 inches. Wish me luck.

The camera was set over a scrape that gets used every year. This big 8 point came in and layed down twice in one week. He stayed for about an hour each day so there are allot of pictures of him, but these are the best. We had some close encounters with this buck, but we never harvested him. The camera taught us much about active deer scrapes. Every critter in the woods is curious about an active scrape. Regular visitors to the scrape include; Bucks and does, bobcat, coons, fox, skunk and cayotes.
