A couple of young bucks appear to still be testing each other even in January here in Texas. This was taken behind my house in the woods near Spring Creek in Harris County.

Survivors! Haven't seen these bucks on my camera for weeks. Deer season in the Ouachita Mountains of southwest Arkansas ended last week. I'm surprised to see them since there were lots of hunters in the Ouachita National Forest that surrounds our property. Happy New Year!
