This photo was taken in Franklin County, PA. We've heard that bobcats were in the area, but never spotted one. We sent the photo to the PA Game Commission and asked whether a bobcat could actually take down a whitetail deer. Dr. Matt Lovallo, Game Mammal Section Supervisor replied: Great picture of a large male bobcat in pursuit of a deer! Large toms may attempt to take adult deer on occasion but are usually only successful if the deer is somehow disabled or if deep snow conditions persist. Bobcats typically hunt via a stalk and pounce attack on a bedded deer and are thought to be incapable of running a deer down to kill it. We think it's a great shot!

This is my first experince with a trail camera and I have had very good luck getting pictures. In the first 2 weeks I have gotten 443 pictures of deer and one fox. This has been my best investment in outdoor equiptment that i can remember. I can't wait until the weekend just so i can check my camera for more BIG bucks. Thanks Cuddeback for the awsome cameras, they have the best pics that i have seen. Thanks, Todd

I caught this black coyote stealing pears from my pear tree in the backyard. Subsequent pictures shows him/her running with a normal colored coyote, however, the black coyote appears to be two-thirds the size of the normal colored coyote!
