Had seen the Mother and cubs in the field, but had not been able to get them close camera. Placed the camera on trail down the mountain from the field. Got great pic of them going to bedding cover.

This bear is a frequent visitor to an area very near our farmhouse where I have two trail cameras set up. It is near a small pond and is also frequented by deer, moose, and coyote.

Ruffed Grouse on his spring drumming log, still getting hundreds of photos a week, the part I don't like in getting to the logs are the deer ticks and poison ivy.

My camera is set for a red fox so I was surprised to see this little Colt (baby Sandhill crane) walk by with duckweed on it. There is a swamp only 20 yards from my camera. The adult never came by. Usually the young ones are right with their parent. I’m assuming that a predator got too close & the adult distracted it while the colt ran for cover in the grass & water & laid down & hid.
