Blacktail deer and fawn in SW Washington. Very steep area, seen some nice bucks in the area just have not showed up in front of the camera yet.

I have been seeeing several smaller bucks for the past couple months, but today when I checked the camera, I was surprised to see this bad boy. I am strongly thinking it is the same deer I chased the last 2 years. I named him Gerald because that is the first thing my fiance said to name him. I sure hope he sticks around and gives me a chance this year. In the years past, he has dissapeared once hunting season started.

Ive been watching this deer for the past few weeks visting my mineral station. Just in the past two weeks though, hes really been putting on some inches!!!
