We have passed this buck up as a 2 and 3 year old and we have him on camera this year and he looks big enough to harvest this year.

At first glance i thought man! that's a good buck! until i looked a little closer and noticed the buck in the background. Turns out i have quite a bit of history with that buck. First picture i got was with my EXCITE back in 2008 as a 2 1/2 year old, a few more in 2009 Then I got a few more of him last year, out of 54 pics, they are all at dark, a true nocturnal Iowa Monarch. Thanks Cuddeback for such a good line of cameras!

Only two days after I put the camera up I got this beautiful picture. Four nice bucks and a doe leaving the bean feild, headed back into the deep timber just as the August sun began to rise.

Our family thoroughly enjoys the anticipation of what images our camera may capture each and every time we check it. While catching a glimpse of a large buck is our ultimate goal, the surprises nature gives us is just as rewarding, as this picture of a raccoon and fawn squaring off demonstrates. Based upon the glowing eyes in the background, it appears the raccoon has a few more fans in his corner vying for tonight's dinner.
