We were conducting our annual deer survey on our ranch in Milam County, Texas and had placed a pile of corn inside a hog-proof pen. The deer could jump in but the hogs could not. Our Cuddeback Capture camera caught this fine picture of a young buck midair on his way out.

The first picture is from a stealth cam that i bought and as you can see its a big deer but because of the slow trigger speed im not able to tell how big the buck actually is. The second photo is from a wildview that missed the deer altogether and the third photo is from a wildgame nation and the infer red is so bad all you get is a white photo instead of deer. I'm now buying a cuddeback so i'll have at least one camera that does whats is suppose to and thats get good pictures of deer.

I got 2 pictures of this buck shedding his velvet, 2 days apart at exactly 7:23 p.m. both days.I believe this is the same deer out of velvet a few days later.

While walking up to my camera i noticed a small hemlock tree, torn to shreds and snapped in half. All i could think is,man i hope i caught the deer that did that on camera. Well sure enough, the cuddeback caught the big mass buck perfectly centered in the pic, and clear as can be. I have the sheds from this buck last year. He put on some more mass,lenght and grew a nice drop tine of his left man beam..Hope to connect with him this year.

I set the camera up between the cornfield and food plot. Photo was taken at 11:58 AM. I have no idea what spooked him out of cornfield.
