I set my camera up on a waterhole that is fed by my geothermal furnace and have been getting a lot of action. This nice buck has been showing up frequently and I have less than a week to get him. Illinois archery season ends Sunday!

I threw my deer carcass on our pond below my house to attract in some coyotes to shoot, and have found tons of pictures of these Redtailed Hawks fighting over their new meal.

I didnt even know that this big guy was in the area until i put my Expert on this scrape. He seemed to avoid my baited cameras. i started hunting this scrape as much as i could and ended up harvesting him on the evening of Nov 7th. i never would have done it without my Cuddeback Expert!

My hunting partner and I were just debating whether or not to take a doe off the land this year when we discovered this picture. Our thought was that our doe/buck ratio was off. Needless to say, now we're thinking we don't have enough does! The buck on top doesn't bother me so much....it's the buck calmly eating on the bottom that concerns me.

Picture of a nice buck who made it through the late gun season in southern Wisconsin. Can't wait to see him next year.
