This buck photo at night made us take a “double” look to see what was really happening with this “branch halo”. The dark background made the leaves look like they were floating around this buck. Amazingly he’s dealing with all that distraction and carrying on as if nothing is wrong??!!

While driving down the road I saw a telephone pole that appeared to be rubbed on. I was thinking no way that could be a buck, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I got permission from the land owner to set up a camera on the telephone pole. It took two weeks and he finally showed up, and here is the culprit.
