The Ruffed Grouse is on a fallen oak log, with a Aspen leaf next to him, which is very fitting considering the importance of the Aspen forest for Ruffed Grouse.

Ruffed Grouse, sometimes other animals check out the log, this time a rabbit.

Acorns are their favorite food. Early fall I like to find the oak trees dropping acorns and put my Cuddeback cameras there. I happened to catch this pretty cool picture of this doe enjoying dinner.

I really enjoy the white flash cameras for color night photos. This may not be the biggest buck around, but just knowing if the giant buck comes down the trail I know that my Cuddeback will give me a high quality photo. They just don’t get any better than these. The raccoon looks to be trophy sized.
