Hog hunting in the middle of the night. Nothing was moving and had to get some rest for the morning hunt, so got down to go turn the feeder light off. When I disconnected the battery, this guy started rattling. Now I'm in total darkness. Stepped right over him and didn't know it. It started coming to me when I disconnected the light and then it got fun. The next day, I remembered the camera and wondered if it had caught the action. Sure enough it did.

The first photo is your average 2.5 y/o buck. Just putting him up there for reference so you can tell how big the hog is.

I had my Ambush IR set up to scout for turkeys this spring and took pictures of about everything but turkeys. We usually have a nice flock of birds on our property but we had a harsh winter and small food source(and apparently a coyote problem) It's not uncommon for us to get a handful of coyote pictures throughout the year, but this was the first time we had a one with a newborn fawn in its mouth. I was very pleased with the quality of the picture. The color was great and the animals were perfectly centered in the frame. Looks like we have to ramp up our predator hunting this winter!
