I Got this buck on our cuddeback capture under an apple tree. As soon as the first picture of him came on the computer screen I recognized him as the same buck that I had rattled in and passed up last year. He was much more impressive this year and went to the top of our most wanted list. With deer season already in when we got the first pictures time was running out before rut was upon us and we would have no idea where he would end up. We knew that if we were to have any chance at this deer it would have to be soon. November 1st a friend of mine had him at 30 yards and couldn’t get a shot at him. Luckily for me on November 2nd I had the opportunity and connected at 25 yards with this unique freak of a lifetime, finding him a short time later. He hasnt been scored yet (he's still very green) but has ~27 scorable points and my biggest whitetail to date. We wouldn’t of known that this particular deer was even on the property if it wasn’t for our cuddeback capture.

WHY WAS THE CAMERA HANGING FUNNY WHEN I WALKED UP TO CHECK IT THIS MORNING?? These three pictures from my Capture tell it all. A camera shy bear who didn't appreciate getting his picture taken. Camera is FINE.

I just got back my re-conditioned camera from Cuddeback. (great customer service btw) Set it in the woods friday afternoon, and in 1 day, the hunch I had proved correct. November 1 is always the start of the rut.

Have 40 pics of him shedding in an hour and 10 minutes! It is truly awesome. If you click through them fast it looks like you are watching a video.

Thought I'd wrecked this stand a week ago when I shot a doe and did not recover her. Went back next day to find my arrow and make some sense of what happened. Jumped a deer and found its huge bed. Thought I'd really screwed up this stand and was ready to give it up. Went back Saturday and had this on my camera along with some new pics.

This is one of my hitlist bucks on a scrape on edge of my food plot. Enclosed is a picture of him last year and this year. This is why you let them grow!

The girls in the Hanna family would like to thank Cuddeback.Digital Camera Company for showing us the truth about the hunting life of our boys. For over forty-one years I have heard of my father’s hunting experiences and enjoy visualizing them out in the wilderness with these large animals. Being the youngest girl out of four kids I never went hunting because it was a boy thing or they knew I would not keep quiet for the duration of the hunt. Well, we all know both facts are true to heart. Sometimes he would come home with a deer and other times we heard of the story how it” Got away.” My father has been hunting since he was a teenager, taking my mother sometimes, taught my older brother, hunted with uncles and cousins and now at the age of 72 he is reliving his teenage years teaching my 10 year old son, Andrew the basics and fun of tracking the deer in the wild. Back in the day we heard stories of the “ Big Deer” but never seen one. In 2006 he bought a Cuddeback. Digital Trail Camera
