This Ruffed Grouse has claimed this old spruce log as his Primary log over a 100 photos on this batch, my cuddeback sits perfect on part of the old base of the tree no mounting required I even worried about the bird knocking it over so far he hasn't

One week early for the Indiana Spring Turkey Season...looks like a nice Tom, but never saw him the following week (but I did hear him!) After what seemed like a decline on birds in our neck of the woods over the last few years, according to our Cuddebacks, they are making a comeback...which is nice to see!

These are taken next to our house on the Trinity River in N. California. Mountain lion and bear photos are common but this is the first time we got one with the prey in its mouth!
