African/ Cape Buffalo at nature reserve in South Africa. Lots of rain on weekend that affected the photos. Was hoping that flash would reach further. Location was amongst trees on a small trail. Heard of buffalo passed through as well as Waterbuck, Zebra, Hippo and Eland. Cuddeback was in Cuddesafe strapped and chained and locked to a tree about 800 mm off the ground. Nothing is safe in Africa.

As I was scrolling through my pictures on opening day of gun season I noticed many deer seemed to be startled, on high alert, or running from the bait. Expecting to see a picture of a big buck coming in to check out the does I began to get excited. My hopes quickly sank however when I seen this picture. I think it's once in a lifetime to get the timing to have the predator and prey in one picture so close together!

Deer hunting in SE Kansas during archery season. It was a slow afternoon and I was wanting to fill my freezer with venison and burn my doe tag I had in my pocket. I also ended up with a picture of a lifetime. The arrow already went through the deer and hit the dirt and my lumenok shining bright. There is deer hair flying through the air and a perfectly exit hole behind the shoulder.

We were 4 miles off the main road with my cuddeback camera and I was lucky enough to capture this picture at 12:30 in the afternoon. But being it was so col and winds were so high I elected not to be in my tree stand that afternoon and the cuddeback captured what I missed.

I have been running all different types of trail camera for over 10 years and cuddebacks have always been the favorite. I got these photos in mid October of this year, I have yet to lay eyes on this deer. I have never seen photos this crisp and clear with this kind of lighting and not be somewhat distorted, these are without a doubt the best pictures I have ever gotten.

I think this doe is ready to put up a fight with any buck that thinks he will chase her around this fall. Started getting some photos of fox and this one has himself some breakfast.
