The last day of archery season in 2014. I had to leave by 9:30 to go home. This buck came in and you can see by the time stamp that I shot him at 9:28. I was fortunate to get the chance at this deer and was also fortunate to capture this moment on my Cuddeback the buck walking down the trail then with the arrow entering the ground and the buck wheeling after the shot!

The devil 9 has made it through shotgun and muzzleloading with just a few days of bowhunting left to chase him. This buck is a stud been on camera for 3 years now and it would be a buck of a life time to shoot him!

This Piebald was born in 2013. My daughter loves to hunt but opted to pass on this one and watch him mature throughout his short lifespan. The last three days he's been hanging around the house which was very unusual. Yesterday I found him dead right beside my daughters hunting blind. (fortunately It looks to be of natural causes) We gave him to a local taxidermist who is going to do a full body mount. He will keep it in his shop for others to enjoy.
