As the rut is fast approaching and the October full means every buck is out marking his territory. Many only come and go for a little period of time, but next month at this time all this activity will be done during daylight. Great buck I named duck buck, because he makes scrapes all around the duck blind! He was a 10 pt last season and this season seemed to loose a tine on his right main beam. Beautiful 4 1/2 yr old whitetail.

These are a couple of 4 year old bucks that I've been able to track for the last 3 years thanks to my Cuddeback cameras. I had an encounter with the 8 point last fall while bow hunting. I knew they both had made it through season and they finally showed back up this week. I've been using Cuddebacks for 8 years to help me locate, track, and age the deer on our farms. It's safe to say that my taxidermist and I recommend Cuddeback cameras.

Dads night to watch the boys! Found half of the shed of dad this spring so I set up a camera in the area

Be sure to hang your cameras on scrapes and rubs, very good chance the buck who made it will be back along with other bucks checking it out

NH Ruffed Grouse on his log. As far as the Robin I don't have a clue why its doing this maybe it's try to hear an insect?

Nice doe picture since I have no bucks yet worthy of a post. She will fill the freezer though.

Reflections. This is a buck I was lucky enough to harvest last year. Great pictures from my Cuddeback Long Range IR.

This is a buck we have been watching for a few years that has been named flash. He is a big 5 on the right side and has all kinds of stuff going on on the left side. He has had the double beam since he was a baby and has turned into an absolute once in a life time buck. He was named flash because he would show up for a few days and the just disappear for weeks at a time. This name really worked out well this year with the amazing photo showing a lighting strike and the Flash that showed up on the my cuddeback. I have had two encounters with him this year but it has been right at the end of shooting light so I have not been able to let an arrow fly yet. Hopefully he will hit the ground sometime this fall.
