Using my Cuddeback Attack IR to scout the deer cruising through the funnel on the back side of my new farm, apparently a crow decided to drop in and join the other feeding on protein pellets.

Left my Cuddeback Ambush IR out for the longest time after Christmas. Expected it to be dead when I went back in July to get it. I was then amazed it had lasted almost 5 months. Then I got to this picture and was shocked because I had never seen a turkey in this location and better yet a big tom with a double beard. Cuddeback fan forever!!

woods we lease was heavily logged 6 years ago. the cover is so thick it is difficult to determine where the deer travel during the summer. while scouting a logging road I noticed where deer were crossing the road. Following the narrow trail to where it opened up enough to put a camera. So far five different bucks, 2 spikes and 4 point have showed up. this is the first week of camera being in place. It pays to spend time in the woods during the summer to find out where the bucks hang out ..

It's deer season for my Cuddeback. I had set up on a field edge for deer. I had a pleasant surprise when I got these great photos of this Sandhill crane family.

We first captured the bear and her cube looking away from the camera about a month ago. We reset the camera and tried again and they visited the same spot. The camera also caught a mother deer and two fawns. This turned out to be a great location. We have recorded; elk, deer, moose and the bears all on the same camera.

I have hunted this property for 6 years and have never had a buck this size ever show up. I leave my camera up 9 months out of the year so that I can see what deer survived from year to year, and try to hopefully get a glimpse of a nice buck, such as this. With all of the hunting pressure around my property it's always nice to see a smart buck like this one survive. Most of my pictures of bucks are all at night, so it was nice to catch this one in daylight.
