Not something we normally see in East Texas. Not sure what it is, I think it's a Red Stag. Escaped from an exotic ranch when the river flooded.

This year my hunting buddies and I decided that we would invest in a nice camera with known reliability instead of going to the discount isle at the local outdoor store. After countless attempts over the past couple of years to get the cheap cameras to cooperate and deliver good pictures at the right time, we were ready to try out cuddeback's 20mp E3 model trail cam. Knowing where the smaller bucks we've seen like to stay, we went deep into the bucks core territory, hoping we could get all the bucks on camera and start developing a hit-list. Typically we would see a few small bucks on camera, and when the season hit and they started moving, we would glimpse at a far a big deer. With no way to judge how big it was we would just say it was a wall hanger... But this year we got him on camera, and he's no longer another truth-stretched story! Thanks Cuddeback!

I've owned my hunting property for 5 years now and am starting to get some really solid bucks on there after some strict QDM practices. I had seen this guy a few times in a field next to my property earlier this summer, but I finally got pics of him in the past week. He's the first triple beamed buck I have ever seen in person. Bring on October!

I tried a new spot this year in hopes of seeing some moose. I picked my spot wisely as having the camera up for only 5 days a got some pictures of a beautiful bull moose. Shortly after while the moose was laying in the hay, a deer walked in to join on the feed. Another great shot with my Cuddeback Camera.

I had this buck on camera in late June only once when he was a eight pointer. Since then no one else in the area has ever seen him. Just over a month later he is quite the regular guy in day light hours and its hard to see but he grew some crabs claws and is now a ten point. I'm hoping he keeps it up through opening weekend by coming through in the daylight. Good thing this is only 80 yards behind my house and I don't have to drive 30 minutes to my other stand locations. Should make the wife happy now.

BIRDS! This photo was taken as thousands of black birds settled into my new hardwood planting. They had settled in and when they took off, the camera took this picture.
