I placed the trail camera over the sight of a recent deer kill. I captured a photo of a Hawk swoopihg on some unkown prey!

I had placed the trail camera over the spot where I had cleaned a deer which I harvested. Obviously this Hawk was swooping in on another scavinger at the site of the kill. I did not capture a photo of the prey that the Hawk was pursuing.

This is an update. In late October I submitted these pictures to Cudde Back for their photo gallery. My comment include a desire to meet up with this guy during the daylight. Because of having cameras, I knew he was staying in the area so I passed on several marginal bucks. On November 05, the deer gods smiled down on me and we had that meeting. Lesson learned: patience, persistence, and pictures pay off.
