While this pic isn't wildlife it is the best pic we ever could have seen. On 6/11/15 Lulu had to have her right front leg amputated due to an accident. On 6/17/15 she as taken to a vet in Abbeville, SC as the surgical site looked infected. This was her 1st time at this vet. She was started in antibiotics and drains were put in. On 6/19/15 a member of the vet staff had her outside in an unsecured area and Lulu escaped. With an actively draining surgical site she was now list in a very rural area. I'm in Bethlehem, PA but that didn't stop my organization, Because of a Dog, from jumping in. We had Renee (Lulu's owner), Heather (a lady we soon came to know very well), and Pam (another lady we soon came to know very well) out canvassing, hanging flyers, tromping thru fields, woods, and marshy areas while I coordinated from PA. No viable sightings came in. Renee left so many articles of clothing behind for LuIu that we were surprised she wasn't coming out of the woods naked. I bought 2 Cuddeback Long Range IR cams. Someone tampered with them but thankfully didn't steal them. In 6/30/15 we sent in Karl and his bloodhounds, Ginger & Lucy, from Black River Search and Rescue in Camden, SC. They found tracks and the hounds followed Lulu's scent. The rain then washed all scent trails away. Karl returned to Camden but none of us ladies were giving up. Then, on 7/20/15 we got the call which was a definite sighting almost 5 miles from her original point. Renee quickly drove the almost hour ride and put up the cams with the homeowners permission. Imagine our jubilation when Lulu was captured on the trail cam on 7/21/2017! It was the 1st time Renee had definite confirmation that her beloved Lulu was indeed alive. On 7/22/15 Renee returned early in the morning to again check the trail cams and there was Lulu! She took off into the woods. Renee quickly called me & I reminded her of the protocol. Do not chase, do not run, do not yell to her, and no eye contact. Within a couple minutes Renee was semi-calm, stood up and slowly walked toward the woods. Lulu came running out to her! What a reunion! Lulu lost about 22 lbs, had many ticks, tore out her drains and stitches but was surprisingly in good health and negative for tickborne diseases. Over the past 2 years Lulu has not left Renee's side and continues to be spoiled. We love the cams and purchased 2 more! We sent 4 to MS to help with a list dog. Sadly, 2 cams were stolen so we are hoping to win so we can have at least 3 cams to help with finding lost pets.

These two little fawns are as cute as they can be. They sure do love each other. Was so happy to have captured this special moment. This fox was looking right at the camera. Such a beautiful animal.
